Fruit Attraction 2016 Review

Fruit Attraction 2016 Review

October 5th, 6th and 7th saw Total Produce and our partner in Spain, Grupo Eurobanan exhibit at the Fruit Attraction tradeshow in the IFEMA exhibition centre in Madrid.  Fruit Attraction has grown into one of the most important forums for the European fresh produce industry and 2016 saw huge crowds once again descend on the Spanish capital.

Total Produce shared exhibition space with Grupo Eurobanan , Spain’s leading fresh produce distributor.  It has been part of the Total Produce group for nearly 25 years and today operates 12 different distribution centres, supplying Spain, Portugal, Europe and other third countries.

Grupo Eurobanan used the coming together of growers, traders and customers from across Europe at Fruit Attraction to showcase its main brands and to share with customer and colleagues alike the plans of the company and new initiatives related to its brands, including Isla Bonita, Plátano de Canarias (Coplaca) and  Kiwiberico.  As per previous years, Fruit Attraction provided a forum whereby stakeholders from across the Spanish industry and beyond could set aside day to day concerns and focus instead on the strategic direction of their businesses and plan for the seasons ahead.

Representatives from across the Total Produce group internationally were also on site; meeting growers, suppliers, customers and, of course, old friends- with Fruit Attraction once again serving to emphasise the advantages of having an on-the-ground presence, such as Grupo Eurobanan’s in Europe’s key growing regions.

Fruit Attraction always provides an invaluable opportunity to forge ever closer ties with stakeholders across the supply chain- 2016 was no exception, and we look forward to further building on these relationships in the months and years ahead.
